B42 - Gartnerparken (GP)

Gartnerparken, located in Egernsund, is a housing option managed by the B42 association, consisting of four units intended for young people. Built between 2005 and 2008, these residences enjoy a picturesque location near the local harbor and water, providing a serene living environment. Although they are approximately 13.5 km away from the SDU campus in Sønderborg, this location is suitable for students looking for an alternative to urban life. Each unit is equipped with a kitchenette, including a stove, hood, and refrigerator (sometimes with a small freezer). Access to the laundry room is available in a common area located at Storegade 4 or Møllegade 1 in Broager. Parking is available for residents. It is important to note that the spaces are not adapted for access by people with reduced mobility and pets are not accepted. Since the building does not have a pre-installed connection to internet or cable television networks, tenants must organize their own contracts. Utility costs, such as electricity, water, and heating, are managed through advance payments to the association or directly to the suppliers. Waste sorting must comply with Sønderborg municipal regulations. Gartnerparken offers a simple and affordable housing solution for young people who value independence and a quiet environment.
